Workset Consumer Health Data notice

Effective October 28, 2026

This Consumer Health Data notice is our consumer health data privacy policy under the Washington My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373), the Nevada Consumer Health Data Privacy Law (SB 370), and comparable state laws. It supplements our general Privacy Policy (https://getworksetapp.com/privacy). Workset is run by Workset (Tyson Daffin, sole proprietor). The canonical version lives at https://getworksetapp.com/consumer-health-data. We don't sell your health data. Questions or requests: support@getworksetapp.com.

1. Categories of consumer health data we collect

2. How we collect it

Directly from you when you enter it in the app, from Apple HealthKit when you grant access, and as data we derive or infer from what you provide.

3. Why we collect and use it

We do not use consumer health data for advertising, marketing, or data mining. We don't sell your health data.

4. Consent

We ask for your consent to collect and use health data on its own step during setup. That step shows what we collect, how we use it, who gets it and how to stop, with a link to this notice. The box starts unchecked and you can continue without it; body and food tracking then stay off until you turn health data on in Settings › Your data and privacy › Health data. Your workouts and the goals you set are collected because they are needed to provide the training features you ask for. We ask a separate and distinct consent, the first time you use an AI feature, before any consumer health data is shared with our AI provider (see Section 5). Consent is opt-in and is never bundled into general terms of use: agreeing to our Terms at sign-up is not consent to health data or to AI.

5. Who we share consumer health data with

We share consumer health data only with processors who act on our behalf under contract, and only for the purposes above:

We do not share consumer health data with any other third parties, and we do not have corporate affiliates with which we share it. We don't sell your health data. (Any future sale would require a separate signed authorization from you, as the law requires.)

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

To exercise these rights, use Settings or email support@getworksetapp.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by law. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response; if your appeal is denied, Washington residents may contact the Washington State Attorney General.

7. Data retention

We retain consumer health data while your account is active and delete it when you turn health data off, when you delete your account, or on a valid deletion request, except limited records we must keep to comply with law.

8. Changes

When we change this notice, we post the new version here and update the effective date. If a change is material and you have health data turned on, the app shows you the updated notice the next time you open it and asks you to confirm your choice: check the box and continue to keep health data on, or continue without it to turn health data off, which deletes your stored health data (you can export it first). If health data is off, nothing changes until you turn it on, when you see the current notice.
